I’m proud to have been a member of the small team that completely repositioned a decades-long approach to gambling education and support by overhauling RG programming and launching PlaySmart. No small effort on it’s own, and carried out while managing major industry and organizational shifts from one of the largest public sector transformations in Canadian history.
My Work
From 2014 to late 2022, I helped lead the development and integration of RG programming across all OLG lines of business, delivering new, more effective messaging while weaving the PlaySmart brand throughout OLG and Ontario. High-stakes work that gave me experience with diverse and complex array of stakeholders and audiences; corporate managers & executives, government officials, ground-level staff, vendors, and of course players.
I supported nearly all department functions, providing research & analysis, policy & program development, stakeholder engagement, event planning, print production, inventory management, and even graphic design; but of course my bread and butter, my balliwick, my forté, was developing content for all manner of corporate communications, internal communications, and marketing & advertising.
